The Creatures of the Moss Realm

These are the pages Alex made about creatures, people, and possible dangers. Some are probably real. Some are maybe half real. Sometimes I'm not sure what's real.

Turn the pages to inspect current recovered entries. Additional pages may appear later if more are found.

Recovered Entry 01

The Moss Slug

A big slow creature of the wet places. It does not rush, but that does not mean it is safe to ignore.

If it is bothered, it can be stunned, which is useful if you are trying not to scream and fall down. Watch where you step because the trail stays there.

Alex note: It may know you are there before you know it is there.

Recovered Entry 02

Crystal Shard Creature

This one shines in broken light and is maybe made of crystals or maybe only surrounded by them. Alex has heard it lives near the mountain and should not be followed.

If you see glowing pieces where there should not be glowing pieces, that is enough warning. Leave carefully and do not pick up a shard just because it looks important.

Alex note: Some people call it the Lich of Mt Caldra.

Recovered Entry 03

The Moss Goat

Not all goats are bad, but this is a Moss Realm goat, so you should assume it has its own plans. It stands on high places and looks at people like it already judged them.

If one appears in silence, do not talk too much. Back away and let it continue whatever mysterious business it was doing.

Alex note: Horn angle may indicate mood.

Recovered Entry 04

The Moss Serpent

Alex says this creature is long, hidden, and possibly watching from the green parts where the ground looks too soft. Other people say it is not real, which is exactly what they would say if they never saw one.

Remain alert around roots, puddles, and suspicious lines in the moss. It may only be a regular snake, but certainty is not always available.

Alex note: Not proven. Still worth drawing.
